Dr. Daniel J. Freet, MD, FACS, is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who offers Phalloplasty at the University of Texas in Houston. Leading a multidisciplinary gender surgery team, Dr. Freet performs multiple methods of Phalloplasty, including RFF and ALT, as well as Abdominal Phalloplasty.
Dr. Freet is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH).

Dr. Freet's multidisciplinary team includes a gynecologist who can perform Hysterectomy, as well as a Urologist. The microsurgery and plastic surgery aspects of Phalloplasty, including Glansplasty and Scrotoplasty, are performed by Dr. Freet.
Surgery Requirements: Dr. Freet follows the WPATH Standards of Care Guidelines for Phalloplasty. You will need to have letters ready for your consultation. One (1) or Two (2) Gender Therapist Letter(s) are required.
Insurance & Medicare: Insurance, including Cigna, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Aetna, as well as Medicare are accepted.
