Phalloplasty in Austin

Phalloplasty Donor Sites
Dr. DeLeon uses either the forearm (RFF) or thigh (ALT) donor sites. Radial Forearm Phalloplasty is typically a 2-stage surgery, with implants put in at the second stage. ALT Phalloplasty can be a 2- or 3-stage surgery, depending on vascular anatomy. Dr. DeLeon sometimes performs a "delayed flap" procedure for stage 1 with ALT Phalloplasty, improving the donor site's vascularity prior to creation of the phallus in stage 2.

Glansplasty
In addition to the standard Glansplasty procedure, Dr. DeLeon also offers a glans implant that's designed to better maintain the coronal ridge of the glans. (This is typically reserved for those who have ALT Phalloplasty.)

Testicular and Penile Implants
Implant surgeries can take place 9 months after Phalloplasty and Scrotoplasty. Dr. DeLeon uses solid silicone testicular implants made by Alpha Aesthetics, and the malleable rod or 3-piece inflatable penile implants.

Dr. DeLeon operates at Arise Austin Medical Center and Westlake Hills Surgery Center, both in Austin, Texas.
